Robotics is one of today’s fastest growing Industry and whether it’s for hobbyist or on large scale industrial type, it help entice the science and engineering fields propel a progressive future.
This are one of the reason for an alumna of the Diliman Preparatory School now studying at the Philippine Science High School (an attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology) to conduct a workshop for kids about robotics.
Budget robotics as it was tagged, it aimed to make children learn and popularize building miniature robots using material readily available in the market with an affordable cost.
One of the current DOST Sec. Fortunato T. de la Pena’s pilot programs when he was still Undersecretary is all about teaching robotics for kids and he also spearheads talks on using industrial robots in the industry, for that robotics is one of the highly supported endeavors at the science department.
