On October 9, the Amlan Substation of the Amlan-Dumaguete 138kV Transmission Line Project (Substation Portion), a general contracting project of Energy China in the Philippines, was put into operation. Located in Amlan, Negros Oriental Province, the Philippines, this is an important project of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines in the province.

After being incorporated into the power networks, it provides power access for the Amlan-Dumaguete 138kV Transmission Line Project and lays a solid foundation for the whole project, including the construction of the new station and the related line project of the Philippine National Grid Company.

The overall commissioning of the relevant projects will cater to the growing demand for power in Dumaguete, improve the reliability and stability of the grid, and provide a sufficient supply of power for the development and construction of the new airport and its neighboring areas, boosting economic development of the local community.
