Ang creative industry sector ay napakatagal ng nagbibigay ng trabaho sa maraming Pilipino. Kaya ngayong ika 3 ng Setyembre 2023 ay inilunsad ang kauna unahang Philippine Creative Industries Month.

Sa pagtutulungan ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT),;

Binuksan ang paglulunsad ni Cong. Christopher Toff de Venecia, ang Principal Author ng Philippine Creative Industries Development Act o RA 11904 at syang Chair person ng House Committee on Creative Industry kasunod ay ang mensahe ni Senator Loren Legarda na matagal na ding sumusuporta sa creative industry ng bansa at binasa ang kanyang mensahe ni Department of Trade and Industry USec. Rafaelita Aldaba na s’yang Interim Secretariat sa Philippine Creative Industry Development Council.

Kabilang din sa mga nagbigay ng mensahe ay sina DTI Dir. Lilian Salonga at DTI Dir Jo Damn Darong at Marichu Tellano, na Deputy Executive Director ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) at NCCA Representative sa Philippine Creative Industry Development Council.
