Dr. Marianito T. Margarito, Chief Science Research Specialist of the Materials Science Division at DOST-ITDI was featured in a NewsFlash article published in DOSTPH last December 2025.

President Andrew G. Kireta Jr. of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) International cited Dr. Marianito T. Margarito for advancing the development and standardization of additive manufacturing initiatives across Southeast Asia. Dr. Margarito is the sole Asian recipient of this year’s award. Only two Asians have been cited since 2021; the other one being from Singapore.
