On October 17, the Belt and Road CEO Conference was held in Beijing as the starter of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. At the conference, Energy China inked 8 cooperation deals, including general contracting projects for a 304 MW solar power plant in Labrador & Bolo and SHIZEN Palauig Solar PV Project in Zambales, the Philippines.
Agreements for 30 other projects, with the total value exceeding USD 10 billion, were also signed at the event. These projects span 20 countries, including Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Greece, Russia and Saudi Arabia.
They encompass various industries, such as solar power stations, wind power, energy storage, gas power plants, power transmission and transformation, data centers, real estate construction, highways, natural gas, and chemical engineering.
As one of the world’s leading energy and power solution providers and infrastructure investors and contractors, Energy China has established itself as an important participant, advocate, and beneficiary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
In the past five years, its deals signed with other partners from BRI member countries have been valued at more than RMB 500 billion. Energy China has invested in, designed, and constructed a large number of new “green” landmarks that have improved people’s lives and brought happiness to the community, aiming at promoting high-quality BRI cooperation.
Energy China considers this Forum as a starting point for working towards common development and a shared future with its partners and best contribute to the progress of the BRI.
